As some of you may know, the Wii was originally slated to be called "Revolution"
Nintendo felt this didn't truly embody the system (and it would be hard to pronounce in some places) so they changed the name to Wii. Not the "Nintendo Wii", just Wii. If anything, it would be Nintendo's Wii. Wii represents the coming together of gamers and non gamers alike.
For those of you who don't know what the Wii is, Here you go.
The Wii is Nintendo's 7th generation video game console. Currently, it is competing with the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360.
The Wii differs from the PS3 and the 360 in its interface. The Wii does away with the standard controller and replaces it with a remote. The remote has motion sensing, as well as pointing capabilities. At first it may seem stupid, but the possibilities are endless.
When you first turn on the Wii, there is a "channels" interface. You point the controller at the screen and select what you want to do.
